In a recent BP chat with Maury Brown (who covers the business beat), he had this to say about the developing Josh Hamilton story:
This is a heck of a story to watch. He’s been given a new lease on life, and seems to have turned the corner with how he deals daily with his (hopefully) former drug use past.
It’s early on in the season. I think that the Reds are watching him closely, as I’m sure the rest of the baseball world is. If he remains clean and sober, on top of being the player that was thought of so highly to begin with in his career, Hamilton has a good chance to be the feel good story of ‘07.
