With the World Baseball Classic (WBC) winding down, the players will be heading back to their respective MLB teams to get ready for the upcoming season. While they have been gone, some of the players in camps have been given some extra playing opportunities that they would not have received with a full squad. The concept of a split squad have been thankfully almost non-existent this spring.
As the tussle in the jungle unfolds between the players who have been making a name for themselves in camp, and those players returning to reclaim their spots on the team, its definatley a different dynamic. It makes it even harder for managers of these teams, along with those fantasy team owners, to make sense of evaluating the players. Luckily, there are some good ideas floating in to help you with your decision making.
Be careful with the fast starters
Take into account player position in lineup
When drafting, take 3B over OF if production equal
Consider Joe Mather
